Supplementary Statement – July 2021
This supplementary statement to the Brighton & Hove Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment is issued in accordance with Paragraph 6 (3) b ii) in Part 2 (3) of the NHS (Pharmaceutical Services) Regulations 2013.
The Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment was issued on April 1st 2018 and a Supplementary Statement was issued on July 10th 2018 and February 25th 2019. The Health and Wellbeing Board has issued this supplementary statement to show the NHS England approved changes to pharmaceutical services in Brighton & Hove since February 2019. It is the view of the Health and Wellbeing Board that these changes to the availability of pharmaceutical services is relevant to the granting of applications referred to in the NHS Act 2006 and the Health and Wellbeing Board is satisfied that a revised PNA would be a disproportionate response at this point and the next one will be published in October 2022.
